Pretty early right about now. I woke up bout 4: 45......why? I have no clue at all. Right now I'm working on reverbnation page. Uploading some pics and songs putting it on my facebook and twitter type ish. Been getting good feedback 4 the most part. Let Gambitt preview Take Two and Take Three on some "yo let me kno wat u think? am i getting any better?". He bashed Take Two bad. Honestly I don't even think he listened to Take Three. #coolshrug
No disrespect. I listen to what my friends and peers say. I actually like getting criticism so I can improve myself, but to put it on my facebook and I guess make statuses about it though......naw I don't like that.
No, I'm not mad. I'm good. I just didn't like the fact he put it on my wall though. Lesson learned, next time I ask him for advice I'm going to make sure I tell him to email it back to me. smh.
Off that. Gambitt did make a lot of points I was feeling also. The mixing on Take One and Take Two is amateur at best. Take Three is a little bit better. My engineer is getting better at it. We've been working together since December (my how time flies) and listening to the first song we did compared to the last song we just did.....I cant help but smile. Noone said it would b hard nor easy but this rewarding lol i dont mind anything as long as I'm getting better and loving my art.
I'm debating on releasing something....Cuz in all honesty if PA, Precyse, Gambitt, and B-Easy aren't on my first serious body of work.....it wouldn't feel right. I think we all falling out though. Or maybe I'm tripping. I've stopped messing with women and smoking so my thoughts nd emotions be on some other shit. I did it for the music though so its all good. No weed so i can deliver and keep my breathe better, and no women cuz they distract, take up time, and influence my thoughts so i tend to write about them. Its only for 5 months. If no improvement comes out of it I'ma try something different.
O yea i think I've gotten good at teasing ppl. 'The Underground Flow' and 'Chilling...'
(both produced by gambitt nd both on my reverbnation page) are jus me spitting and people love it but get mad cuz its short. I just wanted to get my point across and make them want more. I think I'm getting better at doing that, too.
iCoolBlog.com still being worked on. It'll be here by the summer. I'm getting interviews and music together rite now. The team is slowly building. They see the fire in the boy eyes.
